Radio Controlled Model Cars

There are three types that we stock 1/12, 1/10 and 1/8 scale radio controlled. There are two main types of Nitro RC car and electric RC car, four main types of RC vehicles on road, off road, Trucks and rock crawlers. These come under averaging banners touringy car, off-road Rally-cross, oval and circuit. The cars come in two forms RTR (Ready to Run) i.e. all you need to do is add a battery and you are up and running or kit build where you get a box of bits and a set of instructions and you build the car from the parts supplied. There are lots of makes of car’s the main ones are Xray, Hobao, Associated, Mugen-Seiki, Losi, Kyosho Hongnor, Tamiya and Mardave. The off road cars are designed for off road racing and are good for running up and down the garden as well as the road. The on roaders are for racing around tarmac race circuits as they are the fastest type but due to having a low ground clearance they cannot be run on rough ground or off road.

Radio Controlled Boats

Boats come in three types:- model sailing boats, electric powered and IC powered. You can buy them as RTS (Ready to sail) or as kit build from parts in the box or from model boat plans.
